¡¡¡¡Changshu Shirts Factory owns 477 sets of various garment making devices, 1 knitting fabric workshop, 1 dyeing workshop and 9 garment making assembly lines. Its annual capacity is 2.5 million pieces (suits) of garments.
It is engaged in the production of garments made from knitting fabrics and shuttle weaving fabrics, including children's wear. From 1983 on, it began to manufacture garments for foreign companies. In 1986, its T/C T-shirts received highly remarks for its business partner, ARO Company. In March 1987, it passed the certification of Export Garment Quality License issued by the related governmental bureau.
In 1990, with the joint capital from a Japan company, it established the present Changshu Huaxin Garment Co., Ltd, a Sino-Japanese joint venture. In July 2000, the company obtained the license to deal with import & export business by itself. In February 2001, the company passed the certification of ISO9002 Quality System from the UK National Quality Control (NQA). In the past years, 100 per cent of the products were exported to EU, USA, Japan, Korea, etc, and the annual export value is 30 million Yuan (RMB). |
